We'll always remember

I am so grateful for pictures. For those who do not know, a good number of these pictures were taken one or two days before Alivia met Jesus. This is the slide show from the memorial service. I must thank Megan Russell, who did an amazing job editing all my pictures and Kristen Snyder who put together this slide show. Just a note, pause the playlist on the right of my blog before pressing play on the slide show.

These pictures are a gift from the Lord that will help me more fully remember my little one. And, although I often have a very hard time looking at them, I treasure them with all my heart.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us, Heather. Such a beautiful reminder of your sweet baby. We are continuing to pray...

Dear Heather, Dave, Mckenna, and Selan Grace,

We neighbors Penny, and Jonnie walked today and Penny mentioned your blog. I have spent a good hour reading your journal and comments posted.
I loved the Little Alivia vimeo since I had not had the delight of meeting her. So much love there it fills the heart to see it.

Your discipline to write demonstrates your faith and admirable courage. I will revisit your blog and read your sister's too.
I will offer a little prayer given to me from an octogenarian friend who has endured many hardships in life. I keep the prayer on my fridge to remind me and to share.

"Lord grant us passage through these and all our other transitions. Teach us to befriend our own strange and unsightly edges so that we may better befriend others. And keep us alive in imagination and courage of heart, so that we may so pass through things temporal....that we lose not things eternal. Amen"

Peace,
Ruth Hornseth
