treasuring life
Last week, we took a field trip to the Forbidden Caverns with the big girls co-op science class. We had a great time. I came away freshly amazed at God's creation, even underground, 300 feet.
Selah participated in an informal preschool this year with some other little ones. A very ambitious friend, Debbie Partlow (known to the kids as Ms. Debbie!) took on the role to teach all of them two times a week. Selah really came along in many areas.

Finally some pictures to share. We have been working hard the past few months to finish up 1st grade for Mckenna so we could jump right into 2nd and K for Selah. My goal is to get half way through this next year BEFORE baby #5 comes (sometime the end of September)...we'll see if I make it. But we've started at a slow pace and Mckenna is now telling everyone she's in 2nd grade!
In my planning for next year's homeschool year (which we are supposed to have already started because of baby #5 coming in September) I came across this funny video. It hit home with me because the one thing that scares me the most about homeschooling is GRAMMAR! Actually, anything related to Language Arts scares me and if there is one area of schooling that I'm afraid I will mess up my girls, it's this one.
